Earn the industry recognized credential from ISSA Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) for Certified Custodial Technician.  Covid-19 pandemic caused a 75% spike in new job openings for custodians.   Not only has the demand for cleaning services increased significantly, custodians need to be trained with best practices for cleaning and sanitizing to prevent the spread of the virus in office, retail, healthcare, and home settings. Students learn Customer Service, Chemistry of Cleaning and Handling Hazardous and Infectious Waste, Basic Cleaning of Above Floor Surfaces, Basic Cleaning of Hard Floor Surfaces, Basic Cleaning of Carpeted Floor Surfaces, Basic Cleaning of Restrooms & Shower Rooms.  Scholarships available.  Some participants may choose to complete a 25 hour paid internship with a partner business.
