Healthcare Career Connections gives you insight into the industry and takes the guesswork out of finding a path forward. Considering becoming a phlebotomist? We can help with next steps. Think you might make a good certified nursing assistant or pharmacy technician? We can help you decide. Just want to look at options to see what's possible? We know people who can introduce you to various careers in one of the nation's fastest-growing and stable industries.
A three-week head start.
During this three-week course, offered at no cost to you, Goodwill will walk you through multiple healthcare career opportunities and help you create a plan. Along the way, you'll discover what roles are out there, meet people serving in those roles today, and find out what training and certifications you'll need. We'll look at local workforce data to see what opportunities your area offers and how you can gain the experience to rise to the top of candidate pools.

Our first Healthcare Career Connections begins October 19 in Davenport. More opportunities will follow in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.
