We do not know them all, but we owe them all

Military discounts are available to all active, reserve and veteran military members (and their spouses) each Friday, Saturday and Sunday. With a military ID, shoppers on these days of the week can take an additional 10 percent off their entire purchase price.

For the week of Veterans Day, however, we wanted to do more to serve those who have served. So, from Monday, Nov. 6, to Monday, Nov. 13, military families take 20 percent off their purchase price at all Goodwill of the Heartland locations.

We remain committed to serving those who have done so much for our communities, states and nation. In addition to our Veterans Services programs, which help homeless and near-homeless veterans reintegrate into civilian life through a variety of general assistance and employment initiatives, our long-standing discount for military families is one of the ways we honor their dedication and sacrifice.
