Goodwill Stores will close early the day before Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, we'd be remiss if we didn't pause and give thanks for our generous donors and loyal shoppers. Our mission to help people reach their full potential through education, training and the power of work is possible because of your support. Thank you!

Upcoming hours of operation at Goodwill facilities depends on the work done at the location. 

Retail Stores & Outlet Store - Stores and the Outlet will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, and remain closed for Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 23). On Friday, Nov. 24, all stores and the Outlet return to regular hours. To find the retail location nearest you, visit the locations page.

Mission Services & Administrative Offices - All offices will be closed on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, and Friday, Nov. 24. Helms Career Centers located within Goodwill Stores will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Regular hours resume on Monday, Nov. 27.

eCommerce - The eCommerce Department will be closed on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, and Friday, Nov. 24. Regular hours resume on Monday,  Nov. 27.

Heartland Goodwill Enterprises - The oil packaging plant in Coralville will be closed on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, and Friday, Nov. 24. Federal contract sites will follow the holiday schedule of their respective locations.
