Special Military Discount Honors Veterans' Service and Sacrifice

Each Sunday Goodwill of the Heartland invites all active, reserve and veteran military members and their spouses to shop our stores and take a 10% discount off their entire purchase. But we wanted to do a little more for the week of Veterans Day.

From Sunday, Nov. 6, through Sunday, Nov. 3, military members and their spouses can take a 20% discount on their entire purchase. This offer is valid at all Goodwill of the Heartland stores.

"Increasing the discount for the week of Veterans Day is our way of giving back to those who have given so much to our communities and nation," said Vice President of Retail Operations Jason Toms.

The Goodwill Veterans Services team, which is headquartered in Davenport, will be joining local veterans at the Hy-Vee on Kimberly Road on Veterans Day for a free breakfast. The group is also making plans for their annual Thanksgiving meal for veterans on Nov. 17.
