In addition to the job training and placement programs we provide, Goodwill of the Heartland directly assists people in need through our partnerships with area human service agencies.

In 2024, we distributed $145,904 in shopping vouchers to individuals and families in our communities.

For many, this assistance helps them look appropriate and build confidence for job searches. Parents use vouchers to purchase back-to-school or special outfits for children and teens. Whatever the reason someone may need this assistance, helping others is central to our mission as a nonprofit organization.
