Goodwill of the Heartland ready to hire team members during September 22 event
SEPTEMBER 13, 2021 — On Wednesday, Sept. 22, Goodwill of the Heartland will open the doors of its Muscatine Retail Store for a special hiring event. From 3 to 6 p.m. the organization will meet, interview and potentially hire Retail Service Specialists and Job Coaches. The positions offer a starting wage of $13.30 and $15 per hour, respectively.
Successful Job Coach candidates are creative, energetic and caring professionals. They help those with barriers to independence learn to thrive in community job settings. Job coaches also serve as members of a rehabilitation team, developing goals and objectives for program participants. A vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance as well as vehicle records and background checks are required.
Successful retail candidates are team players with a passion for customer service. They meet the physical demands of sorting, stocking and moving merchandise and donations. Retail Service Specialists are store ambassadors, helping everyone they encounter.
