This Earth Month, we're celebrating the creativity, resourcefulness and everyday choices that make a difference. From secondhand finds to simple reuse ideas, small actions can have a big impact — and we want to see yours.
Join our Earth Month Photo Challenge on Facebook and share how you give items a second life for a chance to win weekly prizes and be entered into our grand prize drawing.
How It Works
Each week in April, we'll post a new photo prompt on our Facebook page. To participate, simply:
- Take a photo inspired by the weekly theme
- Comment your photo on the challenge post
- Come back each week to join in again
Every entry counts — so the more you join in, the more chances you have to win.
Weekly Earth Month Themes
We'll keep things simple and creative. Prompts may include:
- Everyday reuse ideas
- Secondhand style or home finds
- Creative ways to repurpose items
- Your favorite thrifted treasures
There is no need for perfection. We're looking for real-life inspiration.
Prizes
- Weekly winners selected by random drawing
- All entries throughout the contest are included in the grand prize drawing
Prizes include sustainability-themed items such as reusable bags and eco-friendly dinnerware.
Rules & Guidelines
- Entries must be submitted as comments on the official Facebook challenge posts
- Participants may enter multiple weeks (each entry increases chances of winning)
- Winners will be selected by random drawing
- Goodwill team members are welcome to participate but are not eligible to win prizes
- Entries must be submitted by April 20 for inclusion in the grand prize drawing
- By submitting a photo, you give Goodwill of the Heartland permission to share your image on our social media, website and marketing channels
