Join us in Keokuk for an event 10 years in the making!

A decade ago, the Goodwill Store in Keokuk opened its doors with a simple mission: to connect great deals with even greater opportunity. Ten years later, we're still doing just that - and we're ready to celebrate!

We're marking our Keokuk anniversary with a 3-day celebration filled with food, fun and community spirit that kicks off on Thursday, June 26 (our official anniversary date) and continues through Saturday, June 28.

What's happening on June 26?

We're bringing the party to the parking lot and the sales floor! Two amazing local food vendors will be on-site with mouthwatering menus:

🍽 Ophelia Caribbean - Grilled 3 bones, juicy hamburgers, jerk chicken, corn on the cob, sweet potatoes and grilled potatoes.

🍽 Taste Buds - Meat nachos, mac & cheese bowls, baked beans and a variety of sandwiches featuring brisket, pulled pork, chicken and Buffalo chicken.

Vendors will also have cold beverages for sale and, inside the store, we'll be serving free popcorn - because what's a celebration without snacks while you shop?

Keokuk Anniversary = 3 Days of Fun

In addition to food, we're offering special activities throughout the event, including:

     🔎 In-store treasure hunts

     🎁 Daily giveaways

     💎 Manager specials

Whether you're a thrifting pro or new to the world of secondhand shopping, there's something fun (and maybe a hidden gem) waiting for you.

Keokuk Goodwill Store Anniversary Flier

More Than a Store

Our celebration isn't just about great deals - it's about the community that's made it all possible. Each month the Keokuk Goodwill Store welcomes around 1,000 local donors. In just the past year, we've processed more than 935,000 pounds of donated items - and kept them out of local landfills while creating jobs and funding career services.

Inside the store, you'll also find the Helms Career Center, where people can get help preparing for a first job, earning a promotion or making a career change. Over the past year, 67 people have received job search support and digital literacy training right here in Keokuk.

Thoughts from Our Team

"The heart of this store has always been our connection to the Keokuk community," said Store Manager Jessica Keller. "From the generous donors who visit us each day to the team members who show up ready to serve, we are so proud of what we've built together over the past 10 years."

Regional Manager Sabrina Buras added, "This anniversary is more than a celebration - it's a thank you. The Keokuk community has supported this store from day one, and every donation, every purchase, every visit has helped change lives through job training and employment opportunities."

So come celebrate with us! Whether you're coming for the food, the finds, or just to say hi - we can't wait to see you!
