Youth Referral Form

Goodwill of the Heartland works with youth and young adults to help them explore and prepare for careers. This form allows members of the community to refer a young person for such services.

This program is open to ages 16 to 24. 

If the person you are referring is over the age of 24, please use the adult request for services form.

Participants explore a variety of careers including technology and skilled trades. There are opportunities to job shadow and tour area businesses to learn more about possible careers. Some courses offer an opportunity to earn an industry-recognized credential.

Youth learn more about their career interests and get ready for the world of work. Goodwill can help young people learn how to develop a resume and fill out an application that highlights their current skills and experience. We will help them develop a plan to meet short term and long term goals.

If interested in learning more about artificial intelligence and/or robotics, we have several opportunities to learn through online classes and practice.

Youth program participants have opportunities for hands-on instruction in a variety of careers.
