Re-Makers Market

About the Re-Makers Market

The Re-Makers Market is a free, fun and family-friendly outdoor sustainability fair held at the Burlington Goodwill Store on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Space is available for roughly 20 vendors or demonstrators at no charge. (Goodwill is not charging a fee for the spaces and is not taking a percentage of vendor profits.) The spaces are available to people who recycle or upcycle clothing, furniture and other household items. The space can be used for demonstration or educational purposes, to sell upcycled goods or both.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and participants are expected to staff their space for a majority of that time. The Goodwill Store will be open and is available for cooling and restroom breaks.

Throughout the day, Goodwill team members will offer demonstrations of their favorite upcycling activities. These include methods for furniture restoration, textile alteration and repurposing and more.

While space will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, Goodwill reserves the right to select participants that embrace the purpose of the event - to inspire and educate on the possibilities of upcycling, reuse and repurpose.

Goodwill leadership is planning in-store activities to help drive foot traffic, arranging on-site food vendors and promoting the Re-Makers Market. Those participating in the Market should bring all needed items, including tables, displays and personal seating.
