As part of this special summer program, high school students and young adults in the Quad Cities area can learn from experienced skilled trade professionals.

Students also have an opportunity to earn the Department of Labor OSHA 10 credential at no cost to them.

Program Details

Where:

      Blong Technology Center
      8500 Hillandale Rd, Davenport

When:

      Wednesdays (June & July 2026)
      11 am to 2:30 pm
            Hands-on learning - 11 am to 1 pm
            Lunch & Workshop - 1 to 2:30 pm

What:

      Classroom and hands-on instruction
      Lunch & PPE provided
      Job shadowing scheduled throughout the summer
      Employment Success Workshops
      Attend all sessions & OSHA classes = $100 gift card
      Complete assigned online activities = $100 gift card

Earn your OSHA 10 credential

OSHA 10 training will be held on Tuesday, June 16, and Thursday, June 18, at Blong Technology Center in Davenport. Attendance both days and a passing exam score is required to earn an OSHA 10 card and credential.

Show future employers that you're serious about safety and ready to work.

    Dates: June 16 & June 18

    Times: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Tuesday) and 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Thursday)

    Location: 8500 Hillandale Rd
