The Essential Computer Skills OST is 24 hours of in-person classroom-based assessments and instruction that aims to build the foundational computer skills required for job search and employment success. Digital skills are in high demand\, and employers report difficulty finding workers with the required digital skills. Building computer skills can increase job-seeking success as well as build a foundation for learning additional digital skills required on the job and career advancement. Northstar Digital Literacy assessments and training provides an interactive\, hands on learning experience. We will cover Basic Computer Skills\, Internet Basics\, Using Email\, Windows 10\, Microsoft Word\, Excel\, PowerPoint\, Social Media\, Information Literacy\, and Your Digital Footprint in addition to using a virtual platform for job interviews.  Scholarships available for those without funding options.
