July 23rd, 2019 — Goodwill reminds back-to-school shoppers heading to the stores for the upcoming tax-free holiday, August 2nd and 3rd, that shopping Goodwill locations in Iowa is always tax-free. Since Goodwill of the Heartland is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization, customers do not pay sales tax when shopping its Iowa stores.
“We offer great value, one-of-kind finds and tax-free shopping year-round,’” said Mindy Kayser, Vice President of Marketing for Goodwill of the Heartland. “We encourage people to add Goodwill to their list of shopping stops this back-to-school season and to remember our stores throughout the year for all their family and household needs.”
