Goodwill of the Heartland’s 17 retail locations will officially open Halloween Headquarters within each store on Monday, September 17th. Goodwill’s Vice President of Marketing Mindy Kayser said, “We want people to know that we offer amazing costumes and incredible value. We are the destination for everything they need to put together a custom Halloween look. It’s also fun to shop our stores because you just never know what you’ll find.”
“Best of all,” said Kayser, “When people shop Goodwill, they are making a positive impact in their local communities by creating jobs and other opportunities for people with barriers to independence.”
Kayser added that the weeks leading up to Halloween mark the largest seasonal sales opportunity of the year for the nonprofit organization. “Goodwill really depends on strong Halloween sales to support its mission,” she said.
Goodwill of the Heartland has three retail stores in Cedar Rapids. Other locations include Marion, Bettendorf, Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Clinton, Geneseo, Muscatine, Iowa City, Coralville, Washington, Fairfield, Burlington and Keokuk.
