4 Thrifted Frame DIYs

Quality picture frames are one of the staples at Goodwill of the Heartland Stores. Thankfully, these items are also some of the most versatile for fast do-it-yourself projects.

Here are four ways you can grab a thrifted frame and make it your own. 

All you need to make this custom pin board is a thrifted frame, some cleaning supplies and cork. It's a great project to do with your children or teens - and makes a great decoration in children's rooms. Enjoy! 

First, grab a thrifted frame, take it apart and clean it up. Next, cut and attach the chickenwire. Add some tape and padding to protect your walls, and you've got a beautiful place to organize and display those earrings or snapshots. 

Coffee shops use them to share WiFi passwords and now you can have a custom chalkboard message center in your own home. Just pick a thrifted frame and add some elbow grease and chalkboard paint. 

This is, perhaps, the easiest DIY of them all! Pick a thrifted frame and dress it up to your liking. Make sure the glass is clean and dry, then insert some paper for a background. Enjoy your custom dry erase board!
