Tony Ramsdell achieves goals
Over the years, Tony has set several goals including working through health problems, managing anxiety, and increasing his work attendance. He often talked about working in the public, but with the level of his anxiety, he didn’t think he could do it. Instead, he chose to stay in the production area of the store where he could tag and hang clothes.
During 2010, Tony tried some new opportunities. He readily demonstrated that he could do more tasks at the store. Now Tony stocks shelves out on the sales floor and works in the store front. Tony has wonderful customer service skills.
Tony is respectful of his co-workers, and if he sees someone struggling, he offers to help them. His attendance is excellent, and he continues to learn more job tasks and set more goals.
Battling anxiety makes every interaction a challenge. Tony’s determination to overcome anxiety and approach his job with excellence earned him the Goodwill Achievement Award in 2011.
