High School Students
Career Connections is a partnership with area education agencies and high schools that provides a transitional year to high school students, preparing them to enter the work world and a life of personal responsibility.
Career Connections and other work experience programs are currently available at more than 20 schools in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Quad Cities areas. To learn more about these opportunities, see your teacher or guidance counselor to learn if you qualify, or visit the Grant Wood Area Education Agency's website.
