Molyneaux Insurance Inc. Presents Donation to Goodwill of the Heartland
Iowa City, IOWA — December 2, 2011 — Molyneaux Insurance Inc., of Davenport presented an $8,000 donation to Goodwill of the Heartland, proceeds from its annual Trumps and Tricks Euchre tournament held in November.
An annual community event, the tournament raises money to aid non-profit organizations in the area. The event was held November 3 in Davenport.
This was the 11th year of the tournament, and 116 teams played – 232 people. The first year the event had 36 teams!
“The support of our company partners and clients have made this event into a huge success as a ’fun‘ fundraising opportunity for the charities of the Quad Cities. We are amazed every year by the continued support and enthusiasm shown for this event,” said Gina Ekstam, CIC, Marketing Manager for Molyneaux Insurance.
“We are proud to help the organizations that help make our community a great place to work and live,” said Ekstam.
Plans are underway for next year. The date will be Thursday, November 1, 2012, and Goodwill of the Heartland will once again be a joint recipient of event proceeds.
