Goodwill of the Heartland Names Jason Toms as VP Retail Operations
Iowa City, IOWA — September 26, 2011 — Goodwill of the Heartland has named Jason Toms Vice President of Retail Operations. Toms will oversee Goodwill’s 14 retail stores, Snackers 2 Restaurant in Muscatine, e-commerce division including Goodwill Reboot, and distribution and warehouse operations.
Toms most recently was the General Manager of Old Navy at Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville and has 20 years of experience with GAP, Inc. where he helped open more than 40 new stores.

Toms will tap his experience and leadership skills to help Goodwill maximize its customer service. “Donors and shoppers fuel our Goodwill mission. It is our team’s goal to make the donor and shopper experience at Goodwill stores the best possible,” Nock said.
Revenues from Goodwill retail sales and recycling efforts provide funding for programs that help people with barriers to independence achieve their potential.
