you have not worked before, have not worked in a long time, or
know that you want or need to go into a different kind of work
from what you have done before. Career Exploration can happen
in a variety of ways, including job site visits or tours, job
shadowing, research on the internet and interviewing staff at
different businesses.
When you are involved in Career Exploration, you can find out “what
it takes” to do different kinds of jobs, what the benefits
might be and what next steps you will need to take to prepare
for a career in a job that interests you.
